Jeff Savage’s guest post on the blog, “LDS Publisher,” was featured here just a few days ago. But we also found him on a different blog, “Six LDS Writers and a Frog,” where he addresses a white-hot topic in the writerly world — self-publishing via e-books.
The phenomenal self-publishing, e-book success of a small group of writers (most notably Amanda Hocking, who has sold hundreds of thousands of e-books in the last couple of months at $0.99 to $2.99) has unpublished writers the world over taking a long, hard look at this alternative approach.
Refreshingly, Jeff doesn’t pooh-pooh the approach idea out of hand. He takes a measured look at the relative merits of going the traditional route versus the new way, likening the new way to a the owners of a lemonade stand seeking to stand out from every other lemonade stand.
Take a look at Jeff’s take here.

Uh, LDS publisher is a girl. and Jeff just guest posts.
