Take out the word “mormon,” and you have the same aspirations of many similar online initiatives for men who want to hear from the other side of the parenting experience. What’s probably key to MormonDaddyBlogs.com is the fact it’s so well curated. And by “curated,” I mean that many posts aren’t just linked to; they are featured with an explanation of why the post is meaningful and comments about the blogger in question. Much like the notes about an artist that appear next to paintings in a museum, this kind of content builds trust and authority with the intended audience. I’m not Mormon and would probably not have sought out any of these bloggers, but I will now. — Shane Shick, DadLinks.com
Deseret News
I was so excited to bookmark the new aggregator MormonDaddyBlogs.com, which is dedicated to pulling together the best posts from fathers… you’ll find professionals, actors, musicians, writers, travelers, teachers, scientists, comedians and so much more. The site is well-organized with a section on videos, a recent blog roll list and featured blog posts. So check it out, and pass the word about the Mormon Daddy Blog phenomenon. Or, if you’re a Mormon daddy who blogs, join up! If not, perhaps like me, you’ll find many new blogging dads whom you’ll now want to follow. — Emily Jensen, Deseret News.
